Skirt length?

Post by Luv on Tue Jul 05, 2011 1:33 pm

On BABV or irl, I don't care.

I'm all for short.

Long is too old fashioned, imo.

I follow the rule of thumb that your hemline shouldn't be shorter than where your hands fall naturally.

So the end of the skirt being about as long as the end of your fingertips when your hands are down?

*nodnod* Hem at the end of the fingertips is what I mean. Shorter than that and it seems more like a slightly long bathing suit.

I don't like skirts. I'm more of a pants person.

Actually, yeah, I pretty much always wear jeans. Just felt like mentioning that rule of thumb.

I only wear skirts for church... and those normally go to knee or ankle length. I like shorter skirts, but I look terrible in them.

Skirts in general are horrible for me. The last time I wore a skirt was probably in 3rd grade, that too with leggings.

Short skirts.
Like above knee, not below it. And rarely, I'll wear a skirt up to my knees. Those just get too long >.<

I agree with that. A skirt below your knee looks wrong. Except for pencil skirts :x

I had a teacher who wore ankle length skirts with sneakers. I hate the combination x:

Society is different now a days. For skirts up to your knees, or past that, or a little above that, pencil skirts and high-waisted skirts (which tend to be longer). For skirts shorter than that, I think it's fine; I wear skirts like that. It's a matter of opinion.

And most people just like things that look good on them.

I don't really wear skirts, but mine are always above my knee, even if it's slightly above it.(:

I guess it really depends on the style of the tutu. ^
